Natural Burial & Home Funeral Options

We promote natural burial options which means we are committed to practices that are ecologically sustainable and have minimal environmental impact. We focus on choices that aid in the conservation of natural resources, the reduction of carbon emissions, and the restoration and preservation of habitat. These methods require the use of non-toxic and biodegradable materials, such as wicker caskets, shrouds, and urns and are considerably less expensive than conventional funeral and burial practices.

We offer family-directed funeral guidance and can help you plan a home viewing (yes, this is legal), teach you how to prepare and bury your loved ones (also legal) and write your own service/eulogy. As home funeral guides we do not function as funeral directors. We do not hold the necessary licensure to provide professional services such as laying out or transporting bodies. Instead, we offer guidance and support to families so that they may do these things for themselves.
